The project is carried out in the southern district of Katowice – Zarzecze. The concept assumed the construction of two single-family buildings with two flats each – the so-called “quadruplet”. In order to avoid four tight, two-storey residential segments, the buildings were designed with two spacious flats on each level, with a clear division into night and day zones. The apartments on the first floor have access to the garden, while those on the first floor – a spacious terrace. The body of the buildings visually constitutes one whole, a simple cube, finished with two materials – plaster and thermo pine boards – wood with enhanced resistance to moisture and weather conditions.
