The designed single-family house is located in a residential district of Katowice, in close proximity to a forest park. The investors dreamed of a house that would open up to the surrounding landscape, while at the same time providing privacy, especially from the entrance to the plot. Therefore, from the side of the cattle garden, the building was carved out, creating offsets, roofed alcoves and specific nooks, creating pleasant, shaded spaces for relaxation. From the side of the road, the body is more economical in perforations and cutouts and constitutes a visual barrier and “fence”. The first floor, with a much smaller outline, was superimposed on the ground floor in such a way that its rooms (bedroom part) had a view of the green area. The elevation of the building was designed from natural elongated brick, supplemented with details made of black steel sheet.
