The concept of a single-family house, tailored to the individual requirements and wishes of the Investor. The building, set on a rectangular, uncomplicated plot, was divided into two functional zones. Since the Investor is passionate about motoring and collects cars, the ground floor was entirely intended for a garage, which was to be the showcase of this place. The entrance zone, also set on the first floor, has a large view of the garage room, visually becoming a part of it. The first floor is intended for the living area, and near the dining table a large skylight was located in the inter-storey ceiling, so as to also achieve visual contact between the two zones. The body of the building also emphasizes the division into two characteristic parts – cuboids, set one on top of the other and shifted relative to each other in a dynamic way. The ground floor was finished with Corten steel sheet, and the first floor, as part of the contact, with noble, smoothly polished plaster.
