The project is a fill to the urban fabric in a district with a quiet, residential character, where the majority is multi-family housing made from plattenbau. The concept assumed the creation of three “towers”, two of which were connected by a ground floor and an underground garage. The ground floors of the buildings were designed for commercial functions and parking lots as well as auxiliary functions: bicycle rooms, pram rooms, built-in garbage bins – the residential floors, as in the neighboring existing buildings, were raised higher. This provides residents with greater privacy and makes the functional layout of the buildings clear. The buildings on the north and south sides have large, characteristic galleries – each residential room has access to a balcony, which makes the balcony an extension of the residential part. The buildings were cut in a characteristic way, increasing the sunlight of the apartments located on their edges. The whole is finished in bright, minimalist colors – the materials used are clinker brick, plaster and system façade grooves.
